FERNANDA SUNG JEWELRY
Fernanda Sung is a Brazilian designer with Chinese heritage. She studied Jewelry and Accessories design at Europeo di Design, and did her Masters Degree in Design through the same institute in Milan, Italy. Since her mother is Chinese, in 2012 she moved to Shanghai to understand more about Chinese culture.
Fernanda created her jewelry brand in 2007. Her concept is to bring a surprising pieces of jewelry into daily life as well as to give a special touch to your memorable occasions.
Shanghai has had significant influence on Fernanda’s art as it inspired her to create 2 collections focused on the city’s magnificent architecture.
WINDOW COLLECTION
Fernanda believes that windows are key element in traditional Chinese buildings: they are the vessel to light and air, and are the essence of architectural beauty. Behind each window there is a story happening. This collection is the result of pleasant walks around Shanghai and eventual peeps through other people’s windows.
SHANGHAI ART DECO COLLECTION
In this collection, she takes on details of this architectural style and transforms them into jewelry pieces. The concept is to bring attention to Shanghai’s heritage and promote a new kind of interaction with jewelry as you can mix and match them into different looks!
